All of the physios from start to finish were excellent, my inury is longstanding and wth a very swollen leg,they gave me all the information required to get the swelling down but understood that as my knee had been bent for around 16yrs that getting it fully straight was not going to happen that day. However they were sympathetic to that, made sure could get up stairs and do Allchurch the exercises and allowed me to be discharged. A really great bunch of staff and far better than the last ones I had across in Scunthorpe years ago. Thank you so much for all your help

I got to my appointment a little early, but I was called in almost straight away to have blood pressure etc taken, I'd hardly sat down in the waiting area before I was called for an ECG, then same again, I'd hardly sat down again and I was called to see the consultant. Everyone was friendly and kind throughout the whole time I was there....a very pleasant experience. I'd definitely recommend this service.

I am taking part in a Drugs Trial having been diagnosed with Liver Cancer and called into to the help line with what I described as trapped nerve, the lady on the phone who responded to my call listened to my comments and suggested that I called into clinic and see the on duty doctor, following an examination by the duty Doctor he suggested that I should be admitted over night to be observed, all of the staff were very helpful and courteous. Thank you for your help and support. Communication is a key part in keeping the family updated with what is happening and my mobile reception was very poor in the area and whilst this is not a comment about the hospital it may be something that could be looked into by the Mobile service providers in the grounds of the hospital?

The call bell was a bit hit and miss. Ideally there should be 2 bells, one for minor requests like something fetching or moving which could be dealt with by an unqualified person and another for major problems like a bleed, fall etc which would be better responded to by a qualified nurse. I would have liked to chose my lunch and dinner menu at the same time so that I could decide which main meal to have. Not a complaint, just a suggestion. The TVs could do with being upgraded. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Thanks to all the staff.

My appointment was for 09-40 so I arrived at the Cardiac Outpatients Reception at 09-25.At 09-30 a nurse checked my weight and BP. I then had an ECG followed by a consultation with a Doctor. I was out by 10-20. Well done Castle Hill Hospital.

From the time I was seen after arriving at the clinic my treatment was brilliant. I was treated with dignity and respect. My son was with me and so was included in whatever was happening to me, with my consent. The nurse who was looking after the patients waiting to go through for their procedure kept me fully informed about when I would be going through to the theatre and what number patient I was. He was very approachable. The anaesthetist told me before I went down what would be happening and asked if I had any questions. The staff involved in taking me down were friendly and chatty and the anaesthetist who was looking after me during my procedure was excellent and told me exactly what was happening, as did the consultant who carried out my procedure. I received excellent care in recovery and both my son and I received tea and biscuits before going home. A very good experience, thankyou.

When i came to the outpatients unit at Castle Hill Hospital for a consultant to discuss my problem.. He was very kind to me and and explained everything to me and let me ask questions about the operation and answered all of my worries about the operation and in total, he was a very friendly person and very helpful... I would recommend this department & doctor to other patients which are experiencing similar problems like myself.. Please can you pass my comments on to Mr Smith who works in the Urology department at Castle Hill Hospital ;-)

Annual appointment to see consultant arrived to schedule, unlike previous years. Having to travel from N.Yorks. the appointment was to time which was helpful, I was completely satisfied with explanation as to forthcoming procedure of ultrasound and await further appointment in next 2/3 months. If that comes to schedule I think the service is great and I feel very well looked after. Thanks to all.

The nurses were extremley helpful and they explained everything thoroughly. They put my mind at ease, which I fully appreciate as this is a stressful time prior to my operation. As usual a massive credit to the NHS
